How does color changing effect work

Color changing effect /ccg effect/ sounds interesting for everyone but most of the smokers wonder how it really works. They usualy have a wrong idea that the colors change during the smoking. This is partly true as the glass gets a new look after each use but this happens also with a glass that is not color changing.

What causes color changing effect

Color changing effect is caused by adding either silver or 24 carats gold into the glass during the glassblowing process. This process is called silver/gold fuming and it turns the glass products into specific look. Smoking products with silver fuming look kind of yellowish and the ones with gold fuming look pinkish/orangeish.
